Kelly Phillips Photography did sports photos for my son’s baseball team.  The photos we received this season were the best ones we’ve had.  Her focus on quality individual photos of the players, paired with her creativity in putting their individual shots into a more modern format team collage really highlights an “out of the dugout” mindset that makes her work unique. I began working with Kelly when I launched my shop, with the vision of helping women create sanctuary in their lives and homes. This was a robust and unique project that required a very specific lens of photography.

Not only did Kelly need to capture gemstones, which is incredibly difficult, but she also had to step into product photography at a high level. True product photography requires the ability to work with the product, the model, and editorial lifestyle imagery. It is a true gift to convey emotion without losing focus on the product itself.

We’ve now completed over ten shoots together, and it has truly been an evolution for both of us. Kelly is collaborative, prepared, and never backs down from a challenge. Many photographers would have stepped away from a project requiring such a layered and specialized skill set, but Kelly didn’t. She leaned in and mastered it!

Kelly did so great with our engagement pictures, she was really personable and easy to work with. My fiancé and I felt that she took her time with our session, and that  put us at ease as both of us are a little camera shy… 🙈  Our pictures were absolutely gorgeous, and the photo gallery was  finished in a timely manner. Kelly is, hands down, the best photographer I've ever worked with.  She puts her clients at ease, gives clear and easy instructions, and the results are phenomenal.
